Almost by accident we came into possession of a number of the original moulds used to create some of the alien creature masks for this ground breaking show.  We stored them, not really sure what to do with them.  We were then gently persuaded to exhibit them at Brit Sci Fi - a superb event at the National Space Centre run each year celebrating British Science Fiction and cult television.    It was here we met Jamie and Mark Dando of Basestar and were invited to Andercon.

At Andercon we were received incredibly warmly by the extended Anderson community, fans and the cast and crew of the original show.   We felt we had to do more with the objects in our collection and thus Precinct 88 was born.

Precinct 88 will strive to exhibit the moulds (which give an unusual insight into how such things are made and behind the scenes on Space Precinct) along with out growing collection of original costumes and props, replica items and period memorabilia.   Space Precinct was a ground breaking show.   It deserves to be celebrated.

About Precinct 88

Precinct 88 was formed for the inaugural Andercon convention.  Andercon was a celebration of the work of the late Gerry Anderson organised by his son Jamie.   It was a superb event that brought together fans, crew and cast from many of the Century 21 shows for a weekend of nostalgia and celebration.
